There’s no clowning like Irish clowning. Sneak a peek into the rehearsal room for Peter Reid’s West End-bound Irish production of Waiting for Godot, which returns Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece to London’s Arts Theatre 62 years after its English-language premiere at the same address…

Didi and Gogo wait on a country road by a tree for a man named Godot. All they know is that when Godot arrives they will be saved. If he doesn’t arrive they have to come back tomorrow and wait again.

AC Productions’ definitive Irish revival of Waiting for Godot stars Nick Devlin as Vladimir, Patrick O’Donnell as Estragon, Paul Kealyn as Pozzo and Paul Elliot as Lucky. It runs for a strictly limited season from 5 to 23 September 2017, including a post-show Q&A with the company chaired by Mates co-founder Terri Paddock on Wednesday 6 September.
