What does it say about the state of our relationship, if one small thing comes along and destroys it forever?
Newlyweds Adam and Eve are moving to the countryside, leaving the city behind for good. They’re going to buy a house, start a family and live happily ever after. But when Adam is suspended from work and accusations are made, they’re forced to question how well they really know each other.
What lurks beneath the surface? And how can marriage survive in a post-truth society? Adam & Eve is a startling new play about trust, feminism and the nature of accusations.
Lee Knight and Jeannie Dickinson are Adam and Eve, with Melissa Parker as Nikki. Adam & Eve is written by Tim Cook and directed by Jennifer Davis, with lighting by Ben Jacobs and sound by Aran Knight. The Broken Silence Theatre Production had its London premiere last September at Brockley Jack Theatre where, amongst its five-star reviews, LondonTheatre1 declared it “utterly phenomenal”.
Adam & Eve runs 22 May to 2 June 2018 at the Hope Theatre, 207 Upper St, London N1 1RL, with performances (65 minutes) Tuesday to Saturdays at 7.45pm. Tickets are priced £15 (concessions £12). CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE!
