Heading outside of London for the first time, At Last runs for one night at the Albany Theatre Studio on 29 November 2019, before returning to Proforca’s home at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre for five performances only from 3 to 7 December 2019.
On 8 June 2018, the UK Government collapses. A far-right regime falls after ten years. This is the story of what happened next… Out of the fire, rubble and ashes, something new is born. A chance to learn about the past and to discover who we were to save the future. A chance to find hope anew, or to tear open wounds which will never close again.
This is the story of ten years of hate. Ten years of oppression and anger when we gave ourselves up to the dark. A story of the mother who fought for her broken sons, and the father who stood in judgement. The daughter willing to pay the ultimate price for freedom, the man who stood by and watched, and the woman who listened.
This is the story of when the world went mad. It is time to tell the truth. At Last.
At Last is co-written by James Lewis and Alexander Knott and helmed by Proforca artistic director David Brady with associate director Jess Barton. The cast from the play’s premiere run reprise their performances for the return dates: Melissa Phillips (as Grace), Anthony Fagan (Colin), Gemma Wray (Nikki), Demelza O’Sullivan (Marie), David Angland (Danny), Michael Faulkner (Jack) and Malcolm Jeffries (Asper). Get to know the company better!
At Last then returns to the Lion and Unicorn Theatre, 42-44 Gaisford St, Kentish Town, London NW5 2ED from 3 to 7 December 2019 with performances at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £12-14. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE!
