Lila Clements
Lila Clements is a Scottish actor, writer and singer based in London. Trained at Rose Bruford College, Lila has built up an extensive list of acting credits and has worked at many theatres across the UK including Royal Shakespeare Company, Park Theatre, Hull Truck Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe. Coming from a musical background, she is also a highly trained mezzo-soprano singer and plays flute, saxophone and autoharp. Her musical skills have led her to work on projects with St George’s Hospital Charity, providing music and song for patients as well as encouraging creative writing within an arts in healthcare setting. Turning her hand to writing for stage and screen, her first short play was selected by Tamasha Theatre for a regional voices new writing programme, and she is developing material for Pitlochry Festival Theatre and 365 Women A Year, a global programme aimed at writing women from history back into social consciousness.
