What does it mean to be a Londoner? How has the city inspired a unique collaboration between writers and actors under the guidance of Proforça Theatre Company? In a series of top tweets, #TeamFeel explain why you should join them for their #AllTheFeels season at The Space in February. Time to get booking!
FEEL, written by James Lewis, runs at The Space from 5 to 17 February 2019, with a press night on 7 February. The new “All the Feels” season also features brand-new material presented in Feel More and Before Feel.
“One day, maybe even tomorrow, and maybe only once, I want to wake up and feel it. Feel like today is the day when I’m not going to feel so bloody awful and alone all the time…”
Jamie and Naomi collide on a weekend that will cause them to question everything they ever thought they knew about themselves. Nick meets Karen and their lives will never be the same again. In a world where love can be swiped on a whim and the path of your whole life is determined by the delay of just one train, is there ever the right time to say what you really feel?
The cast for FEEL are Gabrielle Nellis-Pain, Anthony Fagan, Colin Hubbard and Emily Costello. The production is helmed by Proforça artistic director David Brady. A brand-new monologue by Lewis, Before Feel – directed by Jess Barton and performed by Arthur Velarde – will precede selected performances.
FEEL is also joined by a fresh Feel More collection for 2019, directed by Proforça associate director Jess Barton. An expanded universe of stories from the world of Feel, Feel More sees seven brand-new pieces of writing from some of London’s most talented new fringe writers.
The selected writers are Hannah Bates, Marcus Bernard, Paul Bradshaw, Fergus Church, Jack Albert Cook and Alex Knott. Their Feel More monologues are performed by John Slade, Demelza O’Sullivan, Kelly Gray, Jacob Jackson, Ross Kernahan and Hannah Dale. Note: The work in this season contains strong language and adult themes.
