Young David Armstrong misses his mother. Following her death, he now lives alone in their North Country house, a devoted member of the Salvation Army. In the search for some company, David advertises for a lodger, and good-hearted, attractive Bess, a local barmaid, moves in. But when David’s estranged Casanova of a father decides to move back in, uninvited and unwanted, the impossible situation quickly comes to a head…
Two’s Company’s Artistic Director Tricia Thorns directs the production, returning to Finborough Theatre where she previously directed Imaginationship, Red Night and London Wall. An actor and director, she most recently directed the acclaimed revival of Bodies at Southwark Playhouse.
Sebastian Calver, a recent graduate of East 15 Acting School, leads the cast as David Armstrong. He’s joined in the cast by Mia Austin, John Sackville and Patience Tomlinson.
Co-produced by Karl Sydow, in association with Tilly Films and Finborough Theatre, Go Bang Your Tambourine runs at the acclaimed pub theatre ahead of the European premiere of New Zealand tale of a missing child, Anahera.
