Ahead of my post-show Q&A tonight, I was at the Vaudeville Theatre for the official opening of the world premiere of Mischief Theatre’s new comedy Groan Ups last Thursday (10 October 2019).

Scroll down for my on-the-night reactions – including bumping into lots of industry friends and trailing an Extinction Rebellion parade along the Strand afterwards. Come along tonight to join me in quizzing the original Mischief Theatre company, including Groan Ups co-writers Henry Lewis, Henry Shields and Jonathan Sayer, in the latest in a new series of monthly Mischief Theatre post-show talks.

For more Featured Content on Groan Ups, including Libby Purves‘ review, Emma Clarendon‘s review round-up, production and behind-the-scenes photos, back-to-school videos, interview with long-standing company member Charlie Russell and more, click here.

Groan Ups in the first offering in Mischief Theatre’s year-long season of new work at the West End’s Vaudeville Theatre. It’s followed in December by Magic Goes Wrong, a collaboration with magic legends Penn & Teller.
