Does this count as a vlogmas? Probably not, but here’s my attempt at a theatre diary vlog in any case, which includes two Christmas shows! Not long left to see these at all… Merry Christmas, everyone!

The emphasis is on Off-West End musicals I’ve seen recently, all of which have things to recommend them – Miracle on 34th Street and The Little Match Girl to get you into the Christmas spirit, The Woman in White to re-evaluate this overlooked Andrew Lloyd Webber and Barnum to see the Menier transformed and mourn the loss of the American circus institution (and to feel grateful you don’t have to walk a tightrope in front of an audience every night).

Also a few words on West End offerings of (very limited) Six and the teen draq queen musical everybody is, rightly, talking about, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Miracle on 34th Street runs at the Bridge House Theatre until 23 December 2017.

The Little Match Girl runs at the Tabard Theatre until 30 December 2017.

The Woman in White runs at Charing Cross Theatre until 10 February 2018.

Barnum runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory until 3 March 2018

SIX is at the Arts Theatre on selected Monday nights until 22 January 2018.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is at the Apollo Theatre, booking until 21 April 2018.
