The production ,which is currently also playing on Broadway, is directed by Casey Nicholaw and features a score of popular Disney songs including ‘Friend Like Me’ and ‘A Whole New World’ composed by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin.

Based on the original animated film, the story follows Aladdin, a street urchin who meets and falls in love with the Princess Jasmine unexpectedly. But the course of true love never did run smoothly, as by law Princess Jasmine can only marry a prince – but with the help of a magic lamp and a genie maybe all isn’t lost and he can win the hand of the princess.

Aladdin is the latest Walt Disney Theatricals production to arrive in the West End following on from The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast. Tickets for the new booking period are on sale now.
