After the success with Anita Luna THE DIVA at Clapham Fringe last year, award-winning Italian cabaret artist Anita Giovanni is back at the festival this year, debuting her new show Full of Shit, which runs for one performance only on 26 September 2022. It’s a love affair: in London, Anita found her artistic heart. Time to get booking!
Join the voyage on the rollercoaster life of the Golden Glove award winner Anita Giovanni. Share her exhilarant failures as an artist and a woman through which she finds her true nature: from a serious actress to the fucking funny cool comedian she was born to be.
Anita talks without filters and shares her tragicomic life as an artist and a woman. You will be bewitched by her artistic skills (facial expressivity, voice and physical acrobatic skills), her humanity and heart. A unique mix of theatre, comedy, stand-up comedy, clowning and cabaret; the fil rouge is the connection and interaction with the audience.
This show is not only Full of Shit, but it’s also full of surprises … the biggest one will be the apparition of Anita Luna THE DIVA, who will give her blessing for the show!
A unique solo performance that’s not a monologue but a dialogue with her darling audience. Like the Lotus flower from the mud, Anita rises from within always through her sense of humour: from being Full of Shit to letting it go to have an empty belly and a happier life!
Full of Shit is performed by Anita Giovannini and is co-written and co-directed with Giovanna Manfredini.

What Anita says
“There’s a unique and brave exchange between me and my darling audience. We are like passionate lovers: we cry with laughter, we laugh with tears. We support each other. We toy with each other, there’s a huge complicity. It’s not only about me, it’s a very special meeting.
“My shows are more like parties, in which I’m the master of ceremonies and my guests are my amazing flower children. London embraces me and makes me feel always so welcomed and special. With my first one-woman show Anita Luna THE DIVA, created with my artistic papa Jango Edwards, I traveled around the world, but here in London, I can’t get enough of performing.
“My groupies, yes, not to be full of myself, I have to tell you that I’ve got a group of crazy and lovely people who have already seen my first show Anita Luna THE DIVA many times! Yes I’m a fucking comedy rockstar! My groupies are part of my crew, we are family now. They inspired me and encouraged me to create this new show I’m about to debut, Full of Shit, co-written and co-directed with my brave partner in crime Giovanna Manfredini. Yes, my groupies are in love with their DIVA Anita Luna… Guys don’t worry SHE’s gonna be there even this 26 September as a Special Guest.
“But my groupies want to watch something new too… I couldn’t disappoint them… So, here we are and we are Full of Shit! This, my new show, is my official birth as the fucking funny cool comedian I was born to be. Yes, I sucked as a serious actress. Yes, and this is a great stroke of luck. Yes, failures in life are kicks on your ass that can either kill you or you can kill them by shitting on it.
“That’s what Full of Shit is: a hilarious trip from one failure to another just to find out it’s true that we are like lotus flowers. From the mud, we rise from within only through our sense of humour. So, guys, join me: we are gonna have a lot of fun riding my rollercoaster life. I promise, I’m gonna talk to you without filters and maybe, and I say maybe, if you’re lucky enough… you’ll see some half-light on some superb naked flesh!”
