Derren Brown, “the nation’s favourite dark manipulator of magic and mind control”, will perform his latest stage show, DERREN BROWN: UNDERGROUND at the West End’s Playhouse Theatre, London, for a strictly limited season of 35 performances only from 11 September to until 14 October 2017.
Direct from a sell-out national tour, UNDERGROUND features a collection of some of the very best of his previous stage work brought together into a spell-binding experience of showmanship and magical genius. The show had a test run earlier this year at (the underground) Charing Cross Theatre, which is just around the corner from the (above ground) Playhouse Theatre.
“It’s not a brand new show, rather an opportunity to see me perform some of my own choice of favourite bits from the past fourteen years of touring. Hopefully, it will be just as rewarding an experience for those who have seen me before as it will be for first-timers.”
Michael Vine, Andrew O’Connor, Derren Brown and Paul Sandler for Vaudeville Productions Ltd and David Binder present DERREN BROWN: UNDERGROUND. It’s directed by Andrew O’Connor and Andy Nyman, written by Andy Nyman, Andrew O’Connor and Derren Brown. Setting is by Will Bowen and lighting by Charlie Morgan Jones.
The performance is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
