Steps star and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Faye Tozer will take on the role of Miss Hedge in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at London’s Apollo Theatre from 6 May to 3 August 2019.

Inspired by a true story, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has songs by lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells and book and lyrics by writer Tom MacRae, from an idea by Jonathan Butterell who also directs. The musical has won seven major theatre awards and was nominated for five Olivier Awards.
The musical is also to be made into a major film by Sheffield-based production company Warp Films, completing the fairy-tale journey from a 16-year-old approaching a documentary maker to hit West End Show and now the big screen.
Bio
Faye Tozer is a singer-songwriter, dancer and stage actress who is best known for being a member of the Brit Award winning pop band Steps. Steps have sold over 20 million records worldwide and performed sold out arena tours. Their most recent album, Tears on the Dancefloor, which saw the band reform to celebrate their 2oth anniversary, went to number one in the UK album charts in 2017.
Tozer was most recently seen on television in the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, where she made it to the 2018 finals with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
She began her theatre career in 2004 starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tell Me on a Sunday. Other theatre credits include Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens (The Venue Theatre, London), Tailor Made Man (The Arts Theatre, London) and UK tours of Love Shack, Me & My Girl, Dial M for Murder, Over the Rainbow, Rhinestone Mondays, Singin’ in the Rain and The Naked Truth.
