Opening at the Manchester Palace Theatre on 10 March 2017, Grease the musical is set to spread the fun and joy to theatres across the UK with an all-star cast. The tour will visit: Oxford, Woking, Wimbledon, Birmingham, Liverpool and Cardiff and is booking until 18November 2017.

Directed by David Gilmore, the “No 1 musical” as voted in the 100 Greatest Musicals as shown on Channel 4,  will star Tom Parker (from the group The Wanted) making his musical theatre debut playing Danny Zuko.

The cast will also include Danielle Hope (The Wizard of Oz, Les Miserables) as Sandy and Louisa Lytton (Eastenders, Strictly Come Dancing) as Rizzo.

Featuring some of the most memorable songs written for a musical including ‘Summer Nights’, ‘Sandy’ and ‘Hopelessly Devoted to You’, Grease is filled with cheerleaders and 1950’s culture that has endeared itself to numerous audiences, whether on the stage or screen.

This production originally appeared in the West End in 1993, where it enjoyed a run of six years at the Dominion and Cambridge Theatres.

Dust off your leather jackets, pull on your bobby-socks and take a trip to a simpler time as Danny and Sandy fall in love all over again.

It’s the original high-school musical, featuring all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including You’re The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted To You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin’ and many more.

So throw your mittens around your kittens and hand jive the night away with the show that’ll make you want to stand up and shout, ‘A-wop-bop-a-loo-bop, a-wop-bam-boom!’
