Clifton made her musical theatre debut in the 2015 UK premiere of Berlin’s Face the Music and, earlier this year, starred in 1920s-set musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie. Her other stage credits include Burn the FloorStrictly Live Tour, Marilyn Monroe in Norma Jeane Musical and, currently on tour, Flashdance.

Celebrating the best of 1930s, Top Hat tells the story of Broadway sensation Jerry Travers who dances his way across Europe to win the heart of society girl Dale Tremont (Clifton) in a riotous mistaken-identity plot.

The score is packed with Irving Berlin hits including ‘Cheek to Cheek’, ‘Let’s Face the Music & Dance’, ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’ and the title song. The Ovation production is directed by John Plews, with choreography by Chris Whittaker and musical supervision by Dan Glover.

Further casting is to be announced.
