After two critically acclaimed Off-West End seasons, Just Some Theatre return to London with a brand-new show, hilariously dark interactive murder mystery The Killer Question. Which actor will play which character? You decide!
The production, directed by The Lowry associate artist Alyx Tole, will fly by London’s Greenwich Theatre for just three performances from 28 to 30 September 2021, before heading off to complete its UK tour.
Former game-show champion Walter Crump lives for murder (it was even his specialist subject on the nerve-shredding, general knowledge quiz show The Chair). But did his obsession with death ultimately lead to his own? That’s certainly what Inspector Black believes, and now it is Crump’s dopey widow Margaret who finds herself in the chair – accused of her husband’s murder.
But as shocking details emerge about the events leading up to Walter’s final head to head, it quickly transpires that what started out as an open and shut case has turned into another game altogether: the cat and mouse variety, with more than one deadly twist in the tale.
Described as The Silence Of The Lambs meets Last Of The Summer Wine, The Killer Question will be Just Some Theatre’s third outing on London’s Off West End after the critically acclaimed Coward at the White Bear Theatre in 2013, and their 2017 production of The Doppelgang (Tristan Bates Theatre).
Written by BBC’s The Archers‘ storyliner Dave Payne, The Killer Question stars Just Some Theatre co-founders Peter Stone, Jake Urry, and Jordan Moore.
