Nativity! The Musical will be returning to The Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith for a third year, running from 11 to 29 December 2019, with an extra week of performances. Simon Lipkin, who also features in the current movie Nativity Rocks!, will reprise the role of Mr Poppy after successful runs in the show in 2017 and 2018.
Producer Jamie Wilson said: “Since our premiere last year, audiences throughout the UK have fallen in love with Nativity! The Musical. The show has proved to be the most wonderful introduction to theatre for children and their families. It has so much heart and joy and I am thrilled to be bringing it back to London for a third year in 2019 so even more people can see it.”

With music and lyrics by Nicky Ager and Isitt, Nativity! The Musical is choreographed by Andrew Wright, designed by David Woodhead, with lighting design by Tim Mitchell, sound design by Tom Marshall and musical supervision and orchestrations by George Dyer.
Simon Lipkin played Nicky and Trekkie Monster in the original London cast of Avenue Q at the Noël Coward Theatre. His other West End credits include Guys and Dolls at the Phoenix Theatre, Lonny in the original London cast of Rock of Ages and Barlow in I Can’t Sing! at the London Palladium. Most recently Lipkin starred as the lead in the film Nativity Rocks!, the fourth film in the Nativity series by Debbie Isitt.
