Jamie Hendry and Sony Masterworks Broadway have announced the release of the original cast recording of new musical
The Wind in the Willows.
Previewing at the London Palladium from the 16th June before officially opening on the 29th June,
The Wind in the Willows is a brand new musical featuring music by
George Stiles and lyrics by
Anthony Drewe as well as a book by
Julian Fellowes.

The original cast recording is set for release in mid-June, available to pre-order now. It has been produced by Olivier Award-winners George Stiles and Anthony Drewe as well as being co-produced by Simon Lee. The cast went to the studio earlier this month to record the twenty track album.
The London cast is led by actor and comedian Rufus Hound as Mr Toad who appears alongside West End stars Simon Lipkin as Rat and Craig Mather as Mole;
EastEnders actor Neil McDermott as Chief Weasel;
Coronation Street and
Boy Meets Girl star Denise Welch as ‘Mrs Otter’ and West End legend Gary Wilmot as Badger.
Based on Kenneth Grahame’s beloved novel, this new musical adaptation of The Wind in the Willows follows the adventures of Mr Toad and his friends Rat, Mole and Badger as they try and save Toad Hall from the Chief Weasel and his gang of sinister Wild Wooders.
The production is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh with choreography by Aletta Collins, set and costume design by Peter McKintosh, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Gareth Owen, wig and makeup design by Linda McKnight.
