Due to popular demand, The Old Vic is pleased to announce that Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead will extend by one week until Sat 6 May. Tickets will go on sale at noon today (Mon 27 March).
The 50th anniversary production stars Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire in the title roles, along with David Haig as the Player. It’s directed by David Leveaux and designed by Anna Fleischle. It had originally been due to finish on 29 April, having opened on 7 March following previews from 25 February.
In addition to the extra week of performances, The Old Vic announces two Voices Off events in connection with Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead. Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire will be in conversation on stage on Tuesday 2 May and The Old Vic hosts The School of Life: How to Face Death on 29 April, a workshop on death and how we might think about this complex topic without experiencing it for ourselves.
As previously announced Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead will also be broadcast live from The Old Vic to cinemas around the UK on 20 Apr 2017 as part of NT Live.
