Social media is buzzing with the news that Hugh Jackman is planning to take his one-man stage show out on tour and reports suggest the stage and screen star will perform four dates in the UK.

Kicking off in spring 2019, Jackman will be accompanied by a live orchestra in The Man. The Music. The Show. The dates so far publicised are Manchester Arena (24 May), Birmingham Resorts World Arena (27 May) and the O2 Arena in London (2/3 June).

The Tony Award winner, Oscar nominee and X-Men star has previously performed the show in Los Angeles and on the Great White Way. Rumours abound about what material Jackman would include in his programme, but there is likely to be numbers from the musicals he has been associated with in the past including The Boy From Oz, Oklahoma! (his UK stage debut in 1998 at the National Theatre) and Les Misérables, plus the hugely successful The Greatest Showman.

Jackman’s first world tour, The Man. The Music. The Show will also visit Paris and Hamburg, while the US tour heads to cities including Detroit, Los Angeles and New York. The performer will also appear in Toronto.
