Hugely popular Broadway musical THE BOOK OF MORMON is now booking at the West End’s Prince of Wales Theatre until 27 May 2017, it has been confirmed.
This Olivier and Tony Award winning musical is now in its fourth year in London, having officially opened in March 2013. Created by those behind South Park, THE BOOK OF MORMON follows two missionaries who travel to Africa to preach about the Mormon religion. It won nine Tony awards and walked away with four Olivier awards including Best New Musical.
THE BOOK OF MORMON continues to play in New York at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre on Broadway, where it is regularly one of the top grossing shows.
Directed by Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker, the London production currently stars KJ Hippensteel (Elder Price), Cody Jamison Strand (Elder Cunningham), Alexandra Ncube (Nabulungi), Steven Webb (Moroni/Elder McKinley), Richard Lloyd King (Mafala Hatimbi), Dean Maynard, Michael Moulton, Kelly Agbowu and Chanice Alexander-Burnett.
