The Dead Ducks, University of York Comedy Society’s premier sketch troupe, is doing a run of seven shows across two venues at this year’s Camden Fringe with their new production Ducks Out of Water, which has already had touring audiences in stitches. The production opens tomorrow (21 August) at London’s Museum of Comedy. Time to get booking!
The Ducks have been highly rated by audiences in their native town of York. After launching their tour of live shows in Newmarket earlier this month, The Dead Ducks will perform in London at the Museum of Comedy on 21, 22 and 29 August as well as at the Aces and Eights Bar on 23, 25 and 27 August as part of Camden Fringe.
In earlier festival success, The Dead Ducks received five-star reviews at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe from The Student and The Wee Review.
This week has been a blast! Firstly, getting a 5-star review from @TheStudentPaper and THEN getting to perform on the @BBCEdFest outdoor stage to a wonderful crowd of people! We couldn’t be happier!

The current Covid generation of Dead Ducks are continuing those high standards. Ducks Out of Water is an hour of completely original comedy sketches swimming in farce and parody, written by ComedySoc’s own diverse team of writers.
This fresh cast of five bring to life a series of fun scenes that range from the relatable to… Ah, who are we kidding, it’s mostly the ridiculous!
We have landed at our first location! And oh boy, do we have a show for you, good people of Newmarket! There’ll be pirates, penguins, politicians, pescatarians*, police, Pooh bear… pandemonium! (*pescatarians not guaranteed, but very welcome). Tickets: https://t.co/AN1gwG4LlM pic.twitter.com/CdxeZ3ddj4
