Lane’s smart satire runs at The Vaults from 28 February to 1 March 2020.
Ryan Lane Will Be There Now In A Minute is a hilarious, inventive character comedy aimed at anyone with a complex relationship to home. Examining what it means to grow up gay in the forgotten town of Llanidloes, the show is a touching investigation into what it means to be Welsh and to be queer, and into the myths that surround and fuel the idea of national identity. The fast-paced, belly laugh-inducing show interweaves real life interviews from family members with unforgettable characters including bellowing Rugby teachers, beguiling maidens and belligerent Grandmas. Think The League of Gentlemen meets Under Milk Wood and Clueless.
