We’re counting down to the return of Sirens of the Silver Screen, the “eye-opening” one-woman tribute to three Hollywood legends. Be sure to follow @MyTheatreMates on Twitter too: we’ll be sharing more fun clips of the show’s star Beth Burrows giving her Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Time to get booking for this new limited, Off-West End season, starting soon!
Following its run last November at Highgate’s Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Sirens of the Silver Screen, starring Beth Burrows, transfers for a strictly limited summer season at west London’s Tabard Theatre, running from 26 June to 14 July 2018, including a post-show Q&A chaired by Mates co-founder Terri Paddock on Thursday 5 July.
In this new adventure into old Hollywood in song and story, directed and produced by Mark Giesser, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn come to vivid life again as Beth Burrows performs their most loved songs and shares the shadowy secrets that followed their careers.
Burrows created and performs in Sirens of the Silver Screen, which she has toured extensively internationally. Most recently on the London stage, she won critical acclaim for her title performance in The Lady With a Dog, Giesser’s new Jazz Age adaptation of Chekhov’s 1899 short story which also transferred to the Tabard, after its initial run at the White Bear Theatre.
Sirens of the Silver Screen runs from 26 June to 14 July 2018 at the Tabard Theatre, 2 Bath Road, London W4 1LW, with Tuesday to Saturday evening performances at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £18 (concessions £15). CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE!
