It turns out New York is moving even faster, with the state (and its neighbours, New Jersey and Connecticut), according to the New York Times on Monday, “lifting almost all their pandemic restrictions, paving the way for a return to fuller offices and restaurants, a more vibrant nightlife and a richer array of cultural and religious gatherings for the first time in a year”.

NEWS: Come From Away: The Concert is cancelled as ATG suspends performances at its UK venues until April 2021

A specially staged concert version of award-winning hit musical Come From Away, due to play at London’s Phoenix Theatre from 10-27 February 2021, has been cancelled following the Ambassador Theatre Group’s announcement that performances at the company’s UK venues have been suspended until 3 April 2021.

The BBTAs have revealed the 2020 Black British Theatre Awards nominee list, voted almost entirely by the public and representing some of the finest work by Black performers and creatives in UK theatre. The 2020 awards ceremony will air on Sky Arts this autumn, as part of the channel’s free to air line-up.
