Cherie – My Struggle is thoroughly enjoyable and one can imagine Cherie Blair seeing it and not feeling at all hard done by. The play is not a hagiography, but you leave the theatre being pro-Cherie – or at least anti-anti-Cherie. Highly recommended!
The Trick is another gem in the Bush’s long list of shows that represent parts of society that aren’t often explored, and brings sparkling joy as well as stark reality to this story of loss as well as gain.
Losing Venice at the Orange Tree Theatre is a remarkable rediscovery by this ever-enterprising venue and is a well-crafted and elegantly written curiosity.
