Eugenius! the Musical will end its second run at The Other Palace – extended due to public demand – on 21 October 2018 and not now open the following week at the Ambassadors Theatre as planned.

I wonder if a new genre is forming in musical theatre? Let’s call it ‘cartoon rock’ – because products like Eugenius!, Six and Knights of the Rose have little in common with the canons of Lloyd Webber, or Rodgers and Hammerstein.
On the broader theatrical landscape, there are plenty of things opening this month! In London Eugenius! returns to The Other Palace, Milly Thomas’ Dust transfers to Trafalgar Studios 2, and Foxfinder opens at the Ambassadors.

Rob Houchen, Neil McDermott, Emily Tierney, Alex Bourne and Simon Thomas are joining the cast of British musical Eugenius! when it returns for a six-week season at The Other Palace from 1 September 2018.

After a six-week run at The Other Palace at the beginning of the year and a one-off West End concert at the London Palladium in 2016, Warwick Davis and Kevin Wood are delighted to announce the return of the original British musical EUGENIUS! at The Other Palace from 1 September to 7 October 2018. Ben Adams found fame as the lead singer in the pop group A1, but since then has been writing and producing for various artists, as well as working on his own music, starring in the UK tour of Flashdance and writing the new musical Eugenius!
The songs are infuriatingly catchy in Eugenius!, they stay with you for days. Its cool cast is energetic and engaging and you can’t resist this production’s charm.
Having first appeared in a concert performance at the London Palladium in 2016, Eugenius! is a hilariously nostalgic musical by Ben Adams and Chris Wilkins which has grown into a confident and joyous production.
I saw and loved Eugenius! back in 2016 at its premiere concert at the London Palladium, so I was very excited when I read it was returning to The Other Palace. I’m pleased to say I stand by my initial review – I absolutely adored this, unique, hilarious, feel-good show.
Casting has been announced for the premiere of EUGENIUS!, the new musical produced by actor Warwick Davis, which receives a full-scale production at London’s The Other Palace next month after its one-night-only concert tryout at the West End’s London Palladium last summer.
