‘It shows its age’: FAME THE MUSICAL – West End
“Fame!” – we all know the infamous song. The lyrics, “I’m gonna live forever, I’m gonna learn how to fly, HIGH” are not well known just because of the original 1980 film, but because of the subsequent television series, film remake and musicals that followed.
If only I was famous… then I could reach playwrights around the UK
My challenge is to bring an opportunity to British playwrights who have a play which deserves to be published and licensed around the world.

The team behind Footloose will this year launch a 30th-anniversary tour of another 1980 film phenomenon. The new production of Fame The Musical launches from Manchester Palace on 20 July 2018.
