FOOTLOOSE – Touring Belgrade Theatre, Coventry

In Regional theatre, Reviews, Touring by Helen McWilliamsLeave a Comment

Footloose as an individual track is a tune I have been familiar with and known the words to since I can remember. Footloose as a show with a full range of foot-tapping musical numbers (which I could now listen to on repeat) I was not at all familiar with, however the incarnation of the show which is currently playing at Coventry Belgrade Theatre, is now rooted as a firm favourite.

FOOTLOOSE – Touring

In London theatre, Musicals, Regional theatre, Reviews, Touring by Emily GarsideLeave a Comment

Footloose is the best 80s dance film. Better than Dirty Dancing. There. I’ve said it. I stand by it. I love an 80s dance film in general (except Dirty Dancing, I really hate that film) but Footloose is unashamedly my favourite. Added to that an early 00’s pop favourite in Gareth Gates and Footloose is the making of an excellent, entertaining night out.
