George A Romero’s 1968 movie Night Of The Living Dead not only unleashed zombies upon an unsuspecting world, but was also one of the first movies to fuse horrific gore with political allegory and just a spattering of satire.
Mike Bodie chatted to LLLC about bringing George A Romero’s film Night of the Living Dead to the stage.
Based on George A. Romero’s unparalleled 1968 film Night of the Living Dead, the first ever UK stage adaptation will open at Pleasance, London from 9 April to 19 May 2019. Directed by Benji Sperring, Night of the Living Dead Live will pay homage to the cult monochrome classic. Casting will be announced in due course.
