There may be a little final sprinkle of fairy dust missing but Millennials at The Other Palace is one of the funnest shows about and it’ll be brilliant to see where it progresses.

What I can safely say about Millennials at The Other Palace is that Elliot Clay has produced a collection of irresistible musical earworms, some rousing, some boppy, a couple reflective, all fiendishly catchy, performed by a sensational sextet of musical theatre talents who shine like stars and sell the material for all it’s worth, and then some.

This modern take on the classic fairytale is plenty of fun – but there are moments where the music and story feel a little bit flimsy.

The National Theatre has announced that a production of Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart, directed by Dominic Cooke, will be presented as part of the Olivier in-the-round season in February 2021 in a co-production with Fictionhouse.
