Winners of the 2017 UK Theatre Awards have been announced, including two big wins for Sheffield Theatres’ musical premiere Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and its leading man, John McCrea, now heading to London.
Full casting has been announced for the West End transfer of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie,
directed by Jonathan Butterell and written by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae, which will play a
limited season at the Apollo Theatre from Monday 6 November following a critically acclaimed run at
Industry body UK Theatre has announced the nominations for the annual UK Theatre Awards, which celebrate creative excellence and the outstanding work seen on stages throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Notably, for the first time in the Awards history, all nominations for Best New Play are written by female playwrights.
