NEWS: Lyric Hammersmith revives Simon Stephens Herons, premieres Sarah Kane opera

The Lyric Hammersmith today announces its Spring 2016 Season. They will present the first professional production of Simon Stephens’ Herons since the play premiered at the Royal Court in 2001, directed by the Lyric’s Artistic Director Sean Holmes. This is followed by the return of their coproduction with Filter Theatre of A Midsummer Night’s Dream last staged in 2012, and two radical new operas co-produced with the Royal Opera House.
