Album Review: Rachel Tucker – On The Road
Proving that you don’t need to win the reality show that you’re in to set your career, and that it’s your talent that matters, Rachel Tucker’s success is testament to just how far hard work and a hella big voice can take.

Released in time for Christmas, From The Top contains zero surprises. If you were thinking of getting for someone who likes him, then they are going to be satisfied.
Album Review: 2017 London cast recording of 42nd Street
It is always difficult to capture the magical nature of a popular West End show onto an album, but with this gorgeous soundtrack the cast and everybody involved with the creation of this album have succeeded beautifully.
Album Review: Alexander Armstrong – In A Winter Light
The album is nearly completely stymied by its song selection, misguidedly mishmashing its genres so that we’re taken from traditional carols to easy listening to the Fleet Foxes to original compositions pastiching them all.
ALBUM REVIEW: A Christmas Carol (narrated by Simon Callow)
Simon Callow has joined forces with the celebrated Brighouse and Rastrick Band; the double album features the five-stave narration (backed by the band) on one disc, with the full versions of the carols played featuring on the second CD.
Album Review: Bradley Walsh – When You’re Smiling
Between hosting The Chase, appearing in his regular Peter Pan panto and preparing to become one of the 13th Doctor’s new companion, it’s a wonder he’s managed to find time to record a new album.

Could Hamilton become the new symbol of the Leave campaign?
This pro-immigration, hip-hop reinvention of the all-American musical about a country gaining independence from a distant, tyrannical overlord resonates rather differently in Brexit Britain than it does in America. Forget the NHS bus – could Hamilton be the new symbol of the Leave campaign?

SINNERS CLUB – Soho Theatre ★★★★
As we walk in we are welcomed by a room set in the round, decorated as an old school recording studio; many an old-fashioned rug, musical instruments and microphones, soundproofing on the wall as well as a few photographs. Scattered around the studio space are members of the band playing light Jazz music to set the mood.

THE LOST BOY PETER PAN – Pleasance Theatre
The Tradition versus Progress conflict sits along side the moral question of whether or not we should be perpetuating these attitudes in young children – who don’t know enough to see these problems – by continuing to tell these stories.
