NEWS: The Ferryman extends West End booking until May, TICKETS ONSALE

As demand for tickets continues, Jez Butterworth’s highly acclaimed The Ferryman, directed by Sam Mendes has again extended its run at the West End’s Gielgud Theatre and is now booking until 18 May 2018. Full casting for the new booking period will be announced soon. Tickets for the new dates from 7 January are now on sale via MyTheatreMates.

Jez Butterworth and Sam Mendes are names pretty much guaranteed to make any theatregoing regular pay attention, both are synonymous with high quality productions (Butterworth’s Jerusalem regularly crops up among best play lists while Mendes’ list of director credits is too long to replay here) and they worked together on Spectre, the most recent movie in the James Bond franchise.

The award-winning West End production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, directed by Sam Mendes, continues to capture the imagination of audiences as it enters its fourth and final year at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane. A Broadway production will open in New York in the 2016-2017 season and tickets for a UK-wide tour will go on sale next year.
