The Barricade Boys are back in London with their Christmas Cabaret – a fun-filled festive show that you just can’t help but love.
The set of 23 songs was varied and extremely well put together with a mixture of festive favourites, Les Mis hits and some more unexpected songs. Standout moments included I’ll Be Home For Christmas/Bring Him Home and Man In The Mirror which both featured tight harmonies and wonderful interaction between the boys.
West End musical theatre group, The Barricade Boys, have announced a massive line-up of guest stars for their limited Christmas Cabaret season, which runs at London’s The Other Palace Studio from 5 to 23 December.
Filled to the brim with classic songs from the 1940’s and 1950’s, this touring show has plenty to entertain audiences – not least the tap dancing skills of the performers.
I’m a fan of Jane McDonald, for parlaying the publicity she received as resident singer in BBC docusoap The Cruise into a sizeable showbiz career, with tours, a gig on the Loose Women panel and even a part in Cats. She’s got a pleasingly big voice and an even bigger personality, she’s always ready with a great line or three to show us what an ordinary English Northern lass she is. And I believe it, I believe that Jane McDonald is just like us.
