Two of the Featured Show campaigns I’ve been working on recently have been: the first London revival of James Phillips‘ Soviet espionage drama The Rubenstein Kiss, starring Ruby Bentall, Sean Rigby and Henry Proffitt at Southwark Playhouse; and the world premiere of Mary’s Babies, Maud Dromgoole‘s two-hander in which Emma Fielding and Katy Stephens play scores of donor-conceived half-siblings, at Jermyn Street Theatre. Both are booking through to Saturday 13 April 2019.
Scroll down for my on-the-night reactions on visits to each – be sure to watch my 82-year-old neighbour Dudley’s video review of the first. He lived through the real trial and execution of the Rosenbergs, on which it’s based.
