Multi award-winning company Dry Write return to Soho Theatre this summer with a new production of co-founder Vicky Jones‘ Verity Bargate-winning 2013 debut play The One.
Harry and Jo are up all night drawing the battle lines of their relationship with sex, violence and Wotsits. A viciously funny and daring play, The One invites you into the world of a couple trapped in a destructive and violent cycle of love and lust.

Jones’ “astounding and astonishing” (Telegraph) debut won the Verity Bargate Award in 2013 and had its premiere at Soho Theatre in 2014, helmed by artistic director Steve Marmion with a cast including DryWrite co-founder Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
The One returns to Soho Theatre this summer for a limited run. Tuppence Middleton (War and Peace and Netflix’s Sense8) now stars alongside John Hopkins and Julia Sandiford, once again directed by Steve Marmion and designed by Anthony Lamble.
Now an Associate Company at Soho, DryWrite, founded and run by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Vicky Jones, started its relationship with Soho by producing, in the Upstairs space, Jack Thorne’s Mydidae and Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag, now a six-part television sitcom. Last summer, DryWrite premiered Jones’ latest play, Touch, to huge critical acclaim. Fleabag continues to tour nationally and internationally.
